Samsung Electronics Indonesia (SEIN) has been quite diligent in releasing new smartphones lately. There are four Galaxy A series that have just been released with various price segments. However, it seems that Samsung also wants to present another affordable alternative through the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G.

The Galaxy M53 5G can be considered the affordable version of the Galaxy A73 5G. Both have something in common, such as the 108MP main camera sensor and the largest screen dimensions in their class. However, it still carries the design language of the M series. Comes in three different color options, but the body material used by the Galaxy M53 5G is not yet known. But it seems that this smartphone uses plastic material because it weighs relatively light at 176 grams and is 7.4mm thick.

This smartphone has an extra-large screen dimension of 6.7 inches. Samsung dubbed the screen Super AMOLED Plus. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint sensor on this smartphone is on the right side of the body. The front camera is a punch-hole type and is placed in the middle with a resolution of 32MP. While the main sensor has a resolution of 108MP. But because of the budget version, there are some features that must be removed. The main sensor is not yet supported by OIS. While the ultra-wide sensor on the Galaxy M53 5G has dropped its resolution from 12MP to 8MP. The other two sensors are also only 2MP resolution which serves to present the effect of portraits and close-up photos, aka macro.

Thanks to its excellent distribution channels, it didn’t take long for Samsung to be able to present its new smartphone. From global release to finally being available in Indonesia, including the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G. Samsung Indonesia itself has published a teaser of a new smartphone that will be released next week. However, based on the teaser image, there are only three camera sensors on the rear body, placed in parallel. So it will most likely enter another series first before the Galaxy M53 5G.

The battery capacity is also quite large, which is 5,000 mAh and is supported by 25W Super Fast Charging. There is no info on whether Samsung will eliminate the adapter in this one series. Likewise with the official attendance date and price. It should be cheaper than the Galaxy A73 already on sale in India, selling for INR41,999 or around $551.60.
