Allreviewgadget – Realme officially launched the Realme 8 Series. This new smartphone from Realme comes in two series, namely Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. The two series were first introduced in India on March 25, 2021. So what are the differences between the two smartphone series? Check out the following reviews.

Realme 8 has a Super AMOLED screen measuring 6.4 inches and supports a 60 Hz refresh rate. The screen has a brightness level of up to 1,000 nits. There is a selfie camera with 16MP resolution in the upper left corner of the smartphone screen. While on the back there are 4 cameras consisting of a 64MP main camera, 8MP Ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth camera. You can also use several shooting features such as Cinematic Portrait, Dynamic Bokeh, Neon Portrait, New AI Portrait, UIS Max Video Stabilization, Tilt-Shift Mode, and New Starry Mode.

Realme 8 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G95 chipset which is supported with three internal storage and RAM options, namely 4GB / 128GB, 6GB / 128GB, and 8GB / 128GB. If it’s still lacking, you can add storage with a MicroSD slot. Has the Android 11 operating system, Realme UI 2.0. As for other features, namely Fingerprint under the display, Bluetooth 5.1, Wifi 802.11, Dual Nano-SIM, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For batteries, this smartphone has a 5,000 mAh capacity battery and supports 30 Watt Fast Charging. The battery of this smartphone is claimed to be fully charged in 65 minutes.

The Realme 8 Pro has specifications similar to the regular version. However, there are several improvements that make this smartphone superior. Realme 8 Pro has a 108MP main camera which is equipped with a 3x Optical Zoom feature. while the other three cameras consist of an 8MP Ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The rear camera is also equipped with Ultra Nightscape Video, Starry Mode, and Super Nightscape features.

Realme 8 Pro has a screen measuring 6.4 inches and is Super AMOLED with a screen to body ratio of 83.4%. The screen has a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a brightness level of 1,000 nits. The front camera is in the upper left corner of the screen with a resolution of 16MP.

This smartphone has a Snapdragon 720G chipset which is supported by two variants of RAM and internal storage, namely 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB. If it’s still lacking, you can add more storage using a microSD. It has a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh and supports 50 Watt Fast Charging. Realme claims that the battery can be fully charged in just 47 minutes.

The Realme 8 Pro is sold in India at a price of $245.47 for the 6GB / 128GB variant and for the 8GB / 128GB variant, its price is $272.74. This smartphone comes in four color choices, namely Infinite Blue, Infinite Black, Punk Black, and Illuminating Yellow.
