This gaming headset has a black design and green accents. Truly symbolizes products from Razer. On both sides, left and right, there is a green Razer logo. For a gaming headset, the BlackShark V2 has a design that is not too big. Not even that much different when compared to non-gaming headset designs. This makes it look quite concise. Uses a small pair of metal frame connections between the driver unit and the headband. The connecting metal mechanism can be adjusted in length, and the cable can also adjust the size. The mechanism is easily accessible enough to adjust the size of the head. On the other hand, the sliding joint between the metal and the driver unit will not easily slide by itself when it is being worn.

The earpads feel comfortable when used, they are equipped with a very soft and absorbent material. Even if you are a person who wears glasses, these ear pads will adjust to the stem of the glasses. Thus the forehead will not be too depressed and can avoid discomfort. However, this headset is not equipped with a hinge that allows it to move left and right to adjust the shape of the cheekbones. This problem can be solved by relying on the soft ear cushions of the headset. The headband on this headset also has the same soft material as the ear pads.

The BlackShark V2 is also equipped with a microphone for communication. The microphone can be removed and the mounting position is on the left. The microphone is so flexible and the tip is equipped with foam material. There is a microphone access button (on/off) which is located not far from the microphone.

The cable on this device is coated with a material that is usually found in most gaming headsets. Razer named this cable the Speedflex Cable. Has properties that do not wrinkle easily. This cable has a length of about 2 meters.

This headset can be used on various platforms, such as Mac, PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile phones. This can be done because this headset is equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack and completeness of a USB Sound Card. The USB Sound Card has a 3.5 mm port and the other end uses a USB interface.

The pads in the earcups are very reliable at blocking ambient sound. The sound on this device cannot be heard by the surrounding people, even at a high enough volume. The surround sound effects sound wide. Even so, high-frequency sounds such as the sound of broken glass are not well presented in terms of long-distance surround. This is because the high-frequency sound is sometimes dominated by the mid-frequency tone (such as the sound of a car). For low-frequency sound, this headset is quite reliable, so the sound of explosions can be heard optimally.

When you want to connect this headset to the PS4, you simply connect it to the available USB port on the console. You must connect the 3.5mm audio jack to the available USB Sound Card. Thanks to THX Spatial Audio technology, the separation between channels can be done well.

The surround quality of this device is reliable with some of the features it offers, such as a USB Sound Card that is integrated with the THX Spatial Sound software. This headset also has high flexibility because it can be used on various platforms. The Razer BlackShark V2 retails for $99.99.
