Oppo this time again presents its newest smartphone from the Reno Series family. This smartphone is called the Oppo Reno 5 5G. Oppo focus presents 5G network technology in this latest smartphone. It looks similar to the regular Reno 5 Series. However, is the resulting performance the same? Check out the review.

Design

The Oppo Reno 5 5G design has a design similar to the previous smartphone, the Oppo Reno 5. It has a light and thin design, curved corners, and the same camera placement. There are two color choices that you can choose from, namely Starry Black, which weighs 172g, and Galactic Silver, which weighs 180g. indeed the two color variants have different weights. This smartphone is very comfortable when held in hand. Using polycarbonate material may be intended to make this smartphone lighter. But don’t get me wrong, the material from polycarbonate doesn’t mean that the Oppo Reno 5 5G doesn’t even look cheap and feels premium. This is because the color gradations that this smartphone has been so beautiful. Unfortunately, the back of the smartphone is easy to leave fingerprints on. If you don’t like seeing fingerprints on this smartphone, you have to be diligent about cleaning it.

Screen & Battery

Has a screen measuring 6.43 inches with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 (FHD +) and supports 90 Hz refresh rate. The panel is AMOLED which will spoil your eyes. There is a choice of sharp mode: 93.28% and soft mode: 73.72% for 100% accuracy of sRGB. It has a typical brightness of 430 nits, with a maximum of 600 nits in sunlight, and a local peak brightness of 750 nits. The sides have a relatively thin bezel, and a punch-hole camera at the top left of the screen. Has a fingerprint sensor that is embedded behind the screen glass.

For battery life, the Oppo Reno 5 5G has a battery capacity of 4300 mAh which is quite economical. It supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0. Oppo claims that by charging 5 minutes you can use this smartphone for 4 hours of use. Oppo also claims, charge the battery up to 60% in just 15 minutes. 100% charge the battery in just 35 minutes. When 5% battery remains, you can activate Super Power Saving Mode and can chat on WhatsApp for 1.4 hours.

Camera
