There are several leaks of the latest generation of iPad that will be launched sometime in the future. These devices are the iPad Mini with a new design and the iPad Pro equipped with MagSafe wireless charging like the iPhone 12.
iPad Mini & iPad Pro
The first is the iPad Mini with a new design, which rumors have been circulating for some time. In fact, the new iPad Mini was rumored to be released at Apple’s April 20 event. At that time they released the iPad Pro with the M1 chip. However, Apple apparently did not release the iPad Mini at the event. The new iPad Mini design is said to have thinner bezels and no Home button.
The screen size is in the range of 8.5 inches to 9 inches. Bigger than the current iPad Mini, which has a 7.9-inch screen. Even though the screen is bigger, the body will remain the same because of the thin bezels. Previously, a rendering of the new iPad Mini had also circulated. However, the truth is doubtful because it still has a Home button.
Besides the iPad Mini, Apple is also working on a new, thinner iPad. This entry-level version of the iPad is aimed at students’ needs. Its release is said to occur at the end of 2021. Along with the release of the new iPad Mini. Then there is also the iPad Pro update that will be released in 2022. The new feature is MagSafe’s wireless charging capability. Possibly like the one on the iPhone 12, as well as the ability to reverse charging to charge other devices.
In April, Apple just released the new iPad Pro, which has two major updates. Namely, the use of the M1 chip, the same as in some Mac products, and a screen with mini LED technology that is only available on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
