There is an indicator light on each earbud which is useful for knowing the condition of the battery and also when pairing. Each purchase comes with 3 different eartip sizes.
JBL Tune 115 TWS Features & Performance
Each earbud is equipped with a 5.8mm diameter driver. Carrying Pure Bass technology, you can feel the powerful bass boom, typical of JBL speakers. Supports impedance levels up to 14 ohms and frequencies 20Hz – 20kHz. However, bass that is too strong sometimes shuts down other musical instruments. But, if you really like strong bass, then this TWS is perfect for you. There is Dual Connect technology that allows you to use only one earbud. Each earbud is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 module which ensures smooth music flow.
You don’t have to worry about battery life. JBL claims this device has fairly durable battery life. You can listen to music for almost 6 hours. That’s thanks to the 55 mAh battery in each earbud. While the charging case has a battery capacity of 410 mAh which makes it have a total endurance of 21 hours. The charging process takes less than 2 hours. Already using a USB-C port. Charging for 15 minutes can make you listen to music for 1 hour.
How to Operate
The pairing process is also very easy. When you remove the earbuds from the case, they will automatically enter pairing mode. It just doesn’t support a seamless connection to switch between devices that are already connected.
Each earbud has a physical button for easy control. However, you have to slightly press the earbuds to the ear. This is indeed less comfortable when compared to the touch button model. There are several commands that can be used. For the right earbud, press jam to play/pause, and double press for a virtual assistant. While the left earbud includes press once for the next song and press twice to return to the previous song. However, unfortunately, there is no direct volume adjustment on the earbuds.
JBL Tune 115 TWS has powerful bass technology and has long battery life. The features they have are minimal and the performance is lacking for phone use. it’s hard not to compare it to other TWS available today. Unless you really want to have a TWS JBL branded with powerful bass. If you are interested in owning this device, you can get it for around $89.82.
