Huawei, through the Summer 2022 Smart Office Launch event, introduced a new tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11. Running the flagship chip from Snapdragon, this tablet comes with a very thin and light profile. Present as a work support tool or paired with Huawei laptops such as the MateBook X Pro or MateBook D 16.

The design of this tablet looks quite premium. Nano-scale Optical Coating on the back body makes this tablet free from scratches and fingerprints. With a thickness of 5.9mm and a weight of 449 grams, this tablet is claimed to be the thinnest and lightest 11-inch tablet in the world today.

Another interesting part of this tablet is the rear camera design which is similar to the Huawei P50 Pro. Inside there are two camera sensors, each with a resolution of 13MP and 8MP for wide viewing angles. On the front, there is a 16MP punch-hole camera.

This tablet has very thin bezels, so the camera is placed on the screen. The OLED panel used supports DCI-P3 & sRGB standards fully with deltaE<1 calibration and can display 1 billion colors. The resolution reaches 1600p, has a refresh rate of 120Hz, and has a screen ratio of 16:10. One of the advantages of this tablet is the support for the new Huawei M-Pencil. It now appears in white and has features such as detecting colors in images, simply by touching the color with a pencil tip.

Another excellent accessory is the Smart Magnetic Keyboard. Can connect to Huawei MatePad Pro 11 via magnetic pin. The tilt angle of the screen can be changed from 120 to 165 degrees. In addition, between the keyboard, there is an integrated antenna to increase the ability to capture Wi-Fi signals.

Richard Yu as CEO of Huawei said that the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 chipset has a 5nm fabrication. However, on the global displayed specifications page, there is information that this tablet comes in two different chipset options. The two chipsets are Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888.

In total, there are six speakers embedded around the body of the device. For smoother multitasking capabilities, this tablet is already running HarmonyOS 3.0. Accompanied by an 8,300 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 66W. Its durability is claimed to be able to reach 11.5 hours of playing locally stored videos.
