Finally, the company has confirmed the launch date of the Honor 50 series. This smartphone will be launched on June 16 in China. Prior to this announcement, it was known that the series consisted of 2 models, namely Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro. However, recent reports mentioned that there will be a third model called the Honor 50 SE. The information was conveyed by leaker Teme (@RODENT950), known for many leaks related to Huawei and Honor.

However, he did not say the specifications of the smartphone. The “SE” caption should refer to the more affordable Lite model. The processor will also be different. Possibly, the SE version will come with a Dimensity 1200 processor. While the Pro version will use Snapdragon 778G. As previously reported, the Honor 50 Pro will be the first smartphone to use the new processor from Qualcomm. All three phones are expected to run on Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

In addition, Honor will also receive permission to start using Google Mobile Service (GSM) on its devices again. This report was confirmed by Honor Germany’s official Twitter account. They say this smartphone will have GSM support and pave the way for more devices to come.

Based on the leak, the phone will apparently have a large pill-shaped camera module in the top left corner that houses 2 large circles. On the first circle is the main lens. Below that is a periscope zoom lens and a third camera sensor.
