One of the main advantages of using Google Pixel is the presence of “Pixel Drop”. As has been the case, the design leaks of the three latest Google smartphones come from OnLeaks via a rendering taken from a CAD file. The Pixel 8 Pro rendering comes out first before it uploads the standard version of the Pixel 8. In the picture, it can be seen that there has been a change, both in terms of the design of the front and rear.

The body seems to have more curved corners, resembling the Galaxy S23. The rear camera design is still the typical Google Pixel design, it’s just that now the three camera sensors will be combined. Meanwhile, on the right, there is a new sensor embedded under the LED light.

For the standard variant, this smartphone has more rounded corners, while there is no third camera sensor on the back. Interestingly, in terms of the dimensions reported by OnLeaks, this smartphone is 5 mm shorter and 2.4 mm slimmer than the Pixel 7. The screen size has also shrunk to 5.8 inches.

The Pixel 8 Series is rumored to carry the Google Tensor G3 chip. The chip is rumored to be based on Samsung’s Exynos 2300. In addition, it will use 3nm fabrication which should be far more power efficient and have better performance than the Tensor G2 with 5nm.

Meanwhile, for the Pixel Fold, the design looks a bit stretched like the Oppo Find N. The camera module looks similar, with three different camera sensors. Reportedly, the Pixel Fold will go on sale in June. Both the Pixel 8 Series and Fold are also likely to appear first in the form of a teaser at Google I/O, on 10 May.
