Not using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, this smartphone uses MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ instead. Compared to the non+ version, there is a minor improvement in CPU and GPU performance. And of course, it supports screens with higher refresh rates. Has an octa-core CPU architecture with prime-core up to 3.05GHz.

MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ also uses 4nm fabrication. But for cooling technology, there is a special AeroActive Portal to the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. This is a valve that opens when a cooling accessory is attached. This serves so that the components inside can cool faster, and more effectively to reduce heat.

Another difference is the type of RAM used, which is already using the LPDDR5x type (vs ordinary LPDDR5). But the highest option is only 12GB for the ROG Phone 6D and 16GB for the 6D Ultimate. In addition, it also uses the Bluetooth 5.3 standard (vs 5.2).

Launched in the UK, the ROG Phone 6D costs around US$860.24.
